Fred Weber, Founder, President and CEO
Fred Weber has 25 years experience in the computer and semiconductor industry as an entrepreneur in start-ups and as Chief Technology Officer at Advanced Micro Devices. Fred spearheaded the development of the Opteron chip at AMD, which was recognized as the best processor in the industry, drove significant profit gains, and catapulted AMD from perennial second place to a leadership position in microprocessors. In his 12 years at AMD, Fred led design engineering teams of over 100 people and managed budgets of more than $50M. Prior to AMD, Fred spent eight years at Kendall Square Research a venture backed startup in Boston, where he was a founding engineer in 1987. He has a B.S. degree in Physics from Harvard University and is a member of the National Academy of Engineering. |

Suresh Rajan, Founder, Vice President Marketing and Business Development
Suresh Rajan has over 20 years experience in the computer and semiconductor industry. Prior to founding MetaRAM, Suresh was Director of Marketing for NVIDIA’s award-winning nForce platform processors. Suresh has also held engineering and management positions at Rambus Inc., SGI, and Schlumberger. He has a B.E. degree with honors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Madras, India and an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. |

Mike Smith, Chief Architect
Mike Smith has 30 years experience in the computer and semiconductor industry. Prior to MetaRAM Mike was a Chief Architect at NVIDIA where he was responsible for platform processors from definition to volume production. Mike was previously CTO of iReady Corp., where he helped define and build a single-chip TCP/IP, iSCSI and IPsec offload engine. Prior to iReady, Mike was a professor of electrical engineering at the University of Hawaii and an NSF Presidential Young Investigator. Prior to the University of Hawaii, Mike was at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. Mike is the author of ‘Application-Specific Integrated Circuits’, which is widely recognized as a standard reference in ASIC Design. Mike obtained B.A. and M.A. degrees from Cambridge University, UK and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. |

Dhiraj Mallick, Vice President Silicon Engineering
Dhiraj Mallick has over 15 years of experience in the computer and semiconductor industry. Prior to MetaRAM, Dhiraj held various technical and management roles in silicon engineering at Advanced Micro Devices for over 10 years. Most recently, he was AMD’s director of Microprocessor CAD Engineering. Dhiraj’s other roles at AMD included leading the VLSI design team for Opteron and Athlon64, program management for the product transition to 65nm, leading the AMD SOC initiative, and managing the end-of-life product development & test for the K6 family of products. Prior to AMD, Dhiraj was at NexGen, an x86 startup company, where he performed various technical roles including circuit design and design methodology development. He has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. |

Barry Cornell, Vice President of Operations
Barry Cornell has been working in the computer and semiconductor industry for 27 years, most recently as the Vice President of Operations for Cradle Technologies, a startup doing multi-core DSP processors targeted at high-end video applications. Prior to his experience at Cradle, Barry was the Vice President of Operations and Quality for Oak Technology. Previously, Barry held various management positions, including Vice President of Quality at WaferScale Integration. He started his career at Advanced Micro Devices designing high-speed non-volatile memories. He has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a M.S. in Engineering Management from Stanford University. |

Kashi Anoosheh, Vice President Worldwide Sales
Kashi Anoosheh has worked in the computer and semiconductor industry for 20 years. Before joining MetaRAM, Kashi spent 9 years in sales at NVIDIA, where he worked closely with major PC OEMs and ODMs in the US, Europe, and APAC. Most recently, he was NVIDIA’s Senior Director of Sales responsible for worldwide mobile GPU sales, which he started and grew to $300 million annual revenue. Prior to NVIDIA, he worked for ESS Technology as the Director of Field Applications Engineering and was responsible for PC OEM accounts in the US and Europe. Kashi has also worked in engineering positions at LSI Logic and AMD. He has a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Architecture and VLSI Design, both from the University of California, Santa Barbara. |

Ron Nikel, Vice President Systems Engineering
Ron Nikel has worked in the computer and semiconductor industry for 20 years, most recently as the Director of R&D at Synopsys, a publicly traded EDA and IP core company. At Synopsys, Ron managed a group of over 100 engineers leading the design and development of three main product groups: Memory Compilers, Physical Libraries, and DDR PHYs. Prior to Synopsys, Ron was a Founder and the CTO of TriCN, a Semiconductor IP company that was acquired by Synopsys. Before TriCN, Ron worked as a senior engineer at SGI, Sun Microsystems, and DEC. He has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. |

Udi Bar Sela, Vice President of Finance
Udi Bar Sela has 10 years of financial leadership experience in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining MetaRAM he held financial management positions in a variety of high-tech companies. Most recently, he served as Divisional Controller at Zoran Corporation, a provider of digital entertainment solutions where he was responsible for all financial matters of Zoran’s largest division including strategic planning, budgeting, financial analysis and accounting. He served as Controller at Emblaze Semiconductor prior to its acquisition by Zoran. Udi started his career at Deloitte and Touche Tel-Aviv, where he served as Senior Auditor in the high-tech sector. Udi was awarded the Gold Medal for Excellency at the final qualification exams in Financial Accounting, the highest accounting award issued by the Israeli Accounting Council. Udi is a CPA and obtained a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Tel-Aviv University both in Israel. |
